Viewing and Downloading eBooks

HTML Version

The HTML version can be viewed through your browser while you are connected to the Internet, by clicking the 'View Online (HTML)' links on the home page for each individual book. There isn't a way to save the HTML version as a whole onto your computer. Individual pages can be saved by clicking on 'File' then 'Save page as' and making sure there is a .html file extension on the end of the file name. However, any links within the saved page will try to connect with the online version, and you probably don't want to go through and save each page separately. If you want to download the file, rather than reading it online, we recommend you use the eBook reader version.

eBook Reader Version

The eBook reader version of our books can be viewed online and downloaded to your portable device or your computer but need to be opened using an eBook reader. Adobe has a free ebook reader called 'Adobe Digital Editions', available from http://www.adobe.com/products/digitaleditions/. An advantage of the eBook reader format is that the book can be saved in its entirety, preserving all internal links, so you don't need to be connected to the Internet in order to read it and you can save a copy for your own personal use. Please note that downloading our books implies acceptance of our Terms and Conditions of Use and compliance with Copyright laws.
